Izmir International Literature Festival, which was held for the sixth time in 2022, was organized by IzDoga of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. The festival’s theme, “Literature is Slow,” was in perfect harmony with IZPA’s strategy, which is based on the philosophy of circular culture, seeking a holistic transformation of cities by promoting harmony between man and nature, past and future.

40 guests from 4 countries participated in the festival between 30 September and 7 October, with events in different city districts like Seferihisar, Urla and the city center. The guest of honour of the 6th İzmir International Literature Festival was Latife Tekin.
